Double neck guitars are very useful to many guitarists who have to play two different guitar sounds in one song or in a whole live acoustic concert. The double neck guitar allows the user or the musician to switch between two guitars to be able to play different music without having to pick up a new guitar.

The Gibson EDS-1275 is probably is the most popular double neck guitar. It is most commonly known after it was made famous by Jimmy Page of Zeppelin. The song “Hotel California” by one of the best selling bands, Eagles is played with a double neck guitar on their live performances.


Other than double neck guitars, there is also triple neck guitars which consists three guitars merged into one.
